Bubble Answer Sheet Generator
Print a fill-in-the-bubble answer sheet for any quiz, practice test, or worksheet. Choose A–D, A–E, true/false, ACT-style alternating letters, or grid-in boxes, and print a filled-in answer key to match.
A separate answer sheet makes a practice test reusable. The student marks bubbles, the test booklet stays clean for the next student, and you grade by laying the key over the page. It also gets students used to transferring answers to a sheet, which is a real skill on test day. Set up your sections, print, and you’re done.
Sections
Type letters as one run like BDAC, or separate them with spaces or commas, which you need for grid-in answers like 3/4. Use - to skip a question. On ACT-style sheets, B on an even question is read as G.
Printing tips, and how to grade fast with the key
- Printing. Use the Print button, choose portrait on letter paper, and leave the margins at Default. Turn on background graphics so the answer key’s filled bubbles print solid.
- Grading with the key. Print the key page, stack it on a student sheet, and hold both up to a window. Every bubble that doesn’t line up is a miss. For a key you can reuse, print it on a transparency sheet.
- Find the pattern, not just the score. Type the student’s bubbles into the quiz grader to see which skills they missed.
- ACT-style letters. The ACT uses A–D (or A–E) on odd questions and F–J (or F–K) on even ones, which makes a skipped line easier to spot. Choose that option to practice with the same layout.
- Grid-ins. Each box has four columns: a fraction bar in the two middle columns, a decimal point, and the digits 0–9. Students write the answer across the top and bubble each character below it.
- Bubbles fill down each column first, the way official answer sheets do, and long sections continue onto the next page with a “(continued)” label.
